I am running in the British 10k in London for the University of California Trust UK, and in particular for the We Are Aggie Pride scholarship fund at my alma mater, UC Davis. We Are Aggie Pride launched in 2012 by a group of UC Davis undergraduate students who believed in keeping their peers in school through financial difficulties or emergency situations. WAAP was founded on the idea of "students helping students" and therefore primarily raises money from other students, and disburses scholarships to students who would otherwise need to drop out of university for financial reasons.
