My brother Andreas, was the victim of a horrendous acid attack on his door step, last December, in a case of mistaken identity.

He has fought a remarkable journey over the past year. One that you could only imagine in your worse nightmares. He has undergone extensive surgery on his face, body and eyes and these treatments will need to continue. His strength has been something beyond what I though possible and his battle was not just against his health and vision but also against the 'person' that did it. ( who is now thankfully locked away)

His journey has been supported by The Katie Piper Foundation. It is their amazing work with victims of burns and scars that has helped Andreas Get to where he is now.  I will be running the British 10 k as just a little step in thanking the foundation and supporting all others that have to go through similar. 

 Andreas is alIve, this didn't beat him. We will celebrate that.
