Story
Steph tragically died suddenly on 28 Aug 2013.
As a family we are all obviously shattered. It has been decided that if anyone wishes to contribute in any way, then they can using one of two (or both) justgiving websites.
We have chosen two charities that have supported us as a family and that I know Steph thought highly of.
This one is for a very small local charity in Gloucester supporting children with disabilities and their families. It many be small but the impact it has on the families involved is massive.
Both kids have attended sessions they have organised. Whether it be Faith spending one day a week out of school to work on her fine and gross motor skills as well as promoting her social skills, or play sessions they both attended after school or birthday parties we’ve organised using their facility and even going on outing during the holidays. All of which is of minimal or no cost at all to the families, only accepting donations.
Faith still goes once a week and it's something she really looks forward to. They operate on a shoestring and are in constant treat of closure. If this facility was ever to close many children in Gloucestershire would miss out on a fantastic support group that are so desperately needed by families such are ours.
