I am at it again...this is going to be hard...so get your snacks, warm up that refresh finger and prepare for more dot watching...
The inaugural King Offa Dyke Ultra...a very lumpy race along the length of the Wales/England border, compulsory safety equipment, weather, running through the night, navigation and just 96 hours to complete the 185 mile race....
The 182 mile path features 9085 metres of elevation, which is an average of 50 metres per mile. In comparison, The Pennine Way has an average of just 42m of elevation per mile. One look at the elevation graph just indicates just how much of a challenge this will be. Apart from one short 10 mile section, the razor-tooth profile tells you that I will be doing a great deal of climbing and descending.
