Story
On 16th July I'm running the oldest pathway in Britain, ending at the ancient stone circle at Avebury, to support Royal British Legion Industries.
I have chosen to help veterans and their families who are facing difficulties; struggling to get back to work, or regain their independence and self esteem after an injury or life crisis.
I have challenged myself to run 100km in one go. The plan is to run with friends and colleagues, for team building, and shared success. We are currently aiming for a 15 hours target time. The realities of training and advice from the Osteopath, who has never forgiven me for last year, may see this time target adjusted!
There will be updates as training progresses and live tracking of our position on race day, 16th July. If you want to join the RBLI Team to run, walk or act as support crew, do please get in touch. Also a donation to a wonderful cause would be great.
You can help us to support Britain's Bravest; 77% of the people we reach through LifeWorks have a job within 6 months. There is no better way to get a life back on track.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I hope you will be able to support "Steve Sherry's Race to the Stones."
