We are a 24 hour search & rescue service to save lives at sea

Story

Plymouth Half has completed the full set...the 52nd half marathon in 52 consecutive weeks...A real mix of emotions and wonderful to have some very dear friends there at the finish line. A beautiful day, a great race and now it's 'cigar-time'!! A little bit bonkers and always out to surprise myself (and others) I wanted a challenge that was worthy of the RNLI. Every day of every month, every year these guys put their lives on the line to save others....and it's an emergency service crewed by volunteers. I've run marathons, so this felt like a suitable 'mountain' to attack! 52 official half marathons in 52 consecutive weeks in a world record collective time. 1 a week, every week for a whole year.....Every race is chip-timed, so no cheating on my part, I will tell the story every week and bring to life the work that the Lifeboat men and women do wherever I can. Please help me reach my target of £10,000. Please stay in touch. Steve.
