UPDATES 06.03.14
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, it is greatly appreciated. We have had confirmation from Steven's transplant coordinator that Steven's organs helped to save four people's lives.
A specialist team from the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle went to the Royal Victoria Infirmary where Steven was being treated and were able to take four organs for peopleon their wards. Another organ was taken to someone in the south of England.
To commemorate Steven's generosity, family and friends have planned an 11mile charity walk on the 12th April. This would have been Steven's 29th birthday. Raising money for the charity 'Live Life then Give Life'
The route of the walk follows the coast south, beginning at Druridge Bay, Northumberland.

On Wednesday 10th July our loving Son, Grandson, Brother, Cousin and Friend, Steven (Steveo) had a motorbike accident. Sadly on Thursday the 11th July he died of his injuries. Steven was a fun loving larger than life character with a heart of solid gold. Unknown to his family and friends Steven had signed himself on to the organ donor register. His family carried out his wishes and Stevens heart, lungs, kidneys and liver were donated to those in desperate need.
We find great comfort in the thought that Steven has helped to save many lives and would like to encourage and raise awareness of organ donation through the charity; Live Life the Give Life.
