Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On 27th January 2014 I am starting a 60-day alcohol fast in aid of one of my favourite charities.

Book Aid International sends around half a million brand new books to libraries in sub-Saharan Africa every year. These books reach children and adults in community libraries, schools, colleges, hospitals, prisons and refugee camps where people have little or no access to books. The charity is 60 this year and I want to help them meet their aim of sending even more books in 2014. It costs just 2 pounds to send one book, so if I can raise 600 pounds by giving up my beloved booze for 60 days, that's 300 more books going to people who desperately need them. Please help me to reach my goal (and maybe get healthier at the same time!).
