This is Aimee, aged 4. She was born with a very rare heart defect and at only 4 months old had to have a very complicated open heart surgery to save her life. Aimee's condition is so serious and life threatening that she will require complicated heart surgery all her childhood and into her adulthood. This was devastating news for her parents. Hospitals such as Great Ormond Street have to keep a close eye on Aimee inbetween surgeries. Aimee's last surgery was in November '13, i will let the parents explain in their own words some of that day.

"Finally her big day went ahead in November 2013, it felt like the worst day of our lives, even though we had been through it years earlier, the fact that she could talk to us at age 4 telling us she was in pain and scared was so unbearable and we were overwhelmed at having no choice"

Aimee has suffered agonising pain for six weeks afterwards, with a broken rib cage that had to be wired together, and a huge scar that had to be dealt with carefully in order to heal. Only 1 week after surgery her body began to react against the surgery which made her critically ill again. Finally though her body began to heal and the family were able to have a very special Christmas at home. The hard things for the parents is that in the future Aimee will have to go through surgery again.

Aimee is Disney obsessed and her greatest wish is it go to Walt Disney World in Florida as she adores Mickey Mouse (every time Aimee sees Mickey and Mini Mouse she says "Please, please take me Mummy")

Aimee's mum wrote "I made a promise to myself that if she made it through this time, I would do all I could to take her to a happy place, one that would put a huge smile on her beautiful face, and a wonderful memory that would last forever!

So Please.... please, Help me raise the funds for this Amazing Charity that sends Children like Aimee on these Dreams to Disney Land in Florida!
