Story

We have been impacted by this horrible illness with Keta (our wife/mum/sister-in-law) having been diagnosed in 2014 - she now has a valid excuse, that isn't alcohol related, for falling over!

We are participating regularly in a number of events to raise money for MND research, a cause now very close to our hearts.

In September 2015, Kevin and Neil completed the overnight 100km Thames Path Challenge Walk in 27hrs. In December 2015, Hebe and Violet completed the Richmond Park 10km Christmas Run in an amazing 51mins!

Our efforts have continued throughout 2016. In May, Hebe participated in the Colour Obstacle Rush over 5km with her school friends; in June, Kevin completed the 3 Peaks Challenge (to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours) supported by a group of friends including old school friend Mat Morgan and kindly organised by Allister Humby; and we also hosted a fundraising netball tournament with many of Keta's ex team mates from her netball career coming out of (early!) retirement to support the cause.

The final challenge of 2016 is the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October, with Kevin and Neil supported by school friends Mat Morgan, Steve & Charlotte Nicolson - school inter-house cross-country revisited, just a little posher than Coventry Memorial Park!

As for 2017.....there are more challenges planned!

We would be extremely grateful for any fundraising support. Many thanks. Hebe, Violet, Kevin & Neil
