Story

On Friday 23rd September the management team of Strongbond Construction, along with some directors of associated companies and suppliers, will be jumping, with GoSkydive, from 15,000ft / 2.8 miles (the UKs highest tandem skydive), freefalling for 60 to 70 seconds, and reaching speeds of 125mph, to raise funds for Holy Cross Hospital - one of the Strongbond Group clients.

Why Holy Cross Hospital?

The Hospital provides a comfortable, homely environment for 40 patients with severe disability and long-term conditions, who are highly dependent, need highly detailed care plans, skilled care and treatment, to achieve the best possible quality of life.

Strongbond Construction are currently building a new Education Centre
for the Hospital, which will provide a dedicated training space.  As a
specialist centre for the treatment and care of people with severe and complex disabilities, great importance is placed on having suitable in-house facilities for training their staff.  Plus, as a registered charity, with a reputation for being a Centre of Excellence for the promotion of healthcare and education, Holy Cross are committed to sharing their knowledge with other care professionals.

Strongbond Construction takes great pride in working with and supporting our local communities.  Whilst working at the hospital, we have seen how hard the staff work and how well the patients are cared for.  All monies raised by our skydive will be used by the Hospital to enhance the quality of life of their severely disabled patients, offering them a wide-range of recreational activities, outings and home visits, and also purchasing new equipment.

Imagine an experience that puts your senses into overdrive, one that has your heart racing, the adrenaline pumping, and that leaves you so ecstatic you want to scream out loud.
