Easterleigh Animal Sanctuary's aim is to rescue and re-home unwanted, neglected and stray animals. They take in any kind of animal
that is in need, from hamsters to horses. At present they are caring for over a hundred animals and there are many more waiting to go to them. 

Easterleigh needs to find new premises so that they can continue to rescue and re-home dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, pigs and many other
pets; plus a variety of wildlife! They have a number of permanent and semi-permanent residents who they MUST have continuous care for as they are with them because no-one else will have them. They NEVER put healthy animals down, hence even the most difficult dogs and cats remain in their care until the perfect home can be found. Their horses are either retired or unrideable (medical or congenital issues) and they will maintain their comfort at pasture for the rest of their days.

Easterleigh is open to the public 7 days a week and they receive over 300 visitors in an average month. Donations from these visitors
and local supporters are currently Easterleigh's sole form of income and allow them to do their valuable work and to contribute to the local community.
