Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Dad, last year, had 2 strokes and was in hospital for nearly 4 months.  The hospital/physio department gave up on him, maybe because of his age, but didn't help him at all to get back on his feet.

Unfortunately, we had to make the decision that as we were unable to look after him properly at home he'd have to go into a nursing home, which hopefully is short term.  Since being there he's been working hard with intensive physio and has managed to stand and take a few steps.  He's making excellent progress and we hope to be able to bring him home very soon.

Without the Masonic Samaritan Fund we wouldn't have had a hope of ever bringing him home, so I can't thank them enough.

So I've decided to run my race to raise funds for this excellent charity.
