In 2013 I had a reality check which changed my life and way of thinking forever. Hearing the words 'you have cancer' is terrifying but what happens next,  is down to you and the way you are treated by professionals. I have always been a feisty bugger, so no worries there, but I am eternally grateful to have been treated by Mr. Ramzi and his team. They have supported me through every step of my journey and of course, those of many others with breast cancer, including friends and neighbours. To enable this kind of care to continue, I am showing my appreciation again this year and fundraising for the unit.
