Story
This page has been setup in memory of Peter Moore, as people may or may not know, he lost his battle with cancer in March 2014.
Peter was a loyal and committed member of Yarm Cricket Club from 1983 when he joined until he died this year. He undertook many roles within the club in addition to playing, they include captaincy, scorer, committee member and groundsmans helper. He could be found every Friday afternoon at the ground helping out over the years, followed by nets and a pint in his playing days, later spending more time during the week when he no longer worked.
Most of all Peter Moore was my dad and he loved being at Yarm Cricket Club, it was our second home as I grew up and I wouldn't have had it any other way. He always supported the club in whatever way he could and I want this to continue.
To start this off I've added all donations received from friends and family who attended his funeral. However I would like this to continue in his name.
As a family we wish to donate a bench (near the score box if possible), as this has been a major part of the cricket club for all our family. This will be separate to the donations received via Just giving.
All funds raised via this page will be used to provide much needed equipment to support the clubs future.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
