We unlock our disabled students' potential to help change their lives for their future

Story

This is the 20th year that I have worked as a physiotherapist at Treloars. Although I have enjoyed running for a number of years I have never been brave enough to actually commit to running a marathon. But I have decided  to finally taken the plunge and have decided to celebrate this anniversary  by running my first and probably only marathon, to raise money for Treloars.

Treloar's provides education, care, therapy  and so much more for children and young adults with a physical disability.

After 20 years at Treloars and over 30 as a physio, I continue to love my job and remain in awe of the children and their families that I have had the privilege of working with over this time.

I want to run a marathon because I want to be able to say that I have run a marathon, but how much better if I can raise some money as well . So I am going to be  running to help buy an Acheeva Learning Station for Treloar Physio Department . This is a brilliant but expensive  piece of equipment  that enables our students to carry on learning in a variety of positions.
