Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Don Brims, Sutton Carers Centre’s Treasurer, and a Carer himself, is taking part in the Sutton 10k run at Nonsuch Park on May 8th to raise funds for the Centre. Don is a 68 year old grandfather, but he is not after your sympathy, he is after your money. Other- younger- family members will be running with him to help him on his way, but even with this help, it is likely that Don’s time will be somewhat slower than Mo Farah’s.

‘I believe that Sutton Carers Centre is a most worthwhile charity’, says Don. ‘Since joining the Charity as Treasurer some four and a half years ago, I have been most impressed by the dedication and professionalism of the staff, and all the support from a range of volunteers. I do hope that many of you will feel able to support this fund raising effort.’

You can sponsor Don and help him achieve a splendid total for the Centre by giving online. Alternatively, please call Donna Ewing-Clarke at the Centre to discuss other payment options on 020 8296 5611.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. About the charity

Sutton Carers Centre (SCC) supports people who care for family members or friends unpaid. This could mean supporting a disabled child, a husband with dementia, or a sister with mental health problems; a young carer could be looking after a parent with MS or a sibling with autism. SCC provides advice, information, support, therapies and breaks, so that carers can stay well and supported too.
