We raise funds to support parents and to improve care when a child has died.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are Michelle and Michelle, two friends who are swimming 10k to celebrate a very special boys 4th Birthday.

Maison was 7 months old when he died from  suffocating on a nappy sack. His parents Beth and Martyn have been inspirational spreading awareness of the dangers of nappy sacks, and fundraising for a special charity that support families dealing with bereavement.

Michelle and I both each have a son who will also be 4 this summer. We want to continue to help Maison's family raise vital funds for this amazing charity and sending a loud Happy Birthday up to him in August.

We aren't professional swimmers. In fact we haven't done much swimming since we were children ourselves. However Maison loved water. Bathtimes were always a fun time for him and so we are using water to challenge ourselves to remember a special little boy who we know would adore to be in the pool with us.

Please sponsor us if you can. Every penny will go to helping a family supported by "A Child of Mine" to cope with a devastating point in their lives.

Happy Birthday Maison. We will have a splash for you!!
