Story

As family & friends began asking us what we would like for a 60th birthday gift Dougie & I came to the conclusion that as we both celebrate our BIG birthday 4 weeks apart we would save those kind hearted folks the need to go shopping & instead, request  donations to charity.

Many will be aware that Dougie's best friend John passed away suddenly last October. It was less than one year since he had been diagnosed with epilepsy. The impact that had on his life was huge. Affecting his family, social & working life, John found support from the Epilepsy Fieldwork Service, based in Aberdeen & operated by Quarriers. A little known service which strives to support those affected by a condition, which today, can still make people recoil.

Apart from John, we have several others in our lives who are affected by epilepsy. This page is also a tribute to them & how they cope living with this condition. All donations will go to the Aberdeen Fieldwork Service.

Now.....get the music on & let the party begin!
