After the shattering news that one of our grandsons Kane has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) we have chosen to raise awareness and as many funds as possible to help find a cure, There is currently no cure. The path that our gorgeous 5 year old grandson will take with this progressive muscle wasting condition will follow a predetermined path, by the time he reaches adolescence he will no longer be able to walk and will lose the use of every single muscle in his body thereafter. Eventually his heart and lungs will fail and he will die.

We feel totally devastated that there is at present no cure but human clinical trials have begun to take place with encouraging results, it is for this reason that we are fund raising and putting any monies into The Joining Jack charity as this charity is working tirelessly to raise awareness of DMD and find a cure and eradicate DMD.
