This year Turner & Townsend are embarking on their most challenging summer expedition to date by kayaking the 3 largest lakes in the Lake District; Windermere, Coniston and Ullswater. This 50 mile challenge will be taking place on Saturday 18^th and Sunday 19^th July 2014 over what we are targeting to be two 12 hour periods of intense kayaking. The team must overcome powerful winds, strong tides, blisters, passing ferries and each other’s company, and all in the name of charity.

We are fundraising for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust in support of their inspiring Ecotherapy project, Nature in Mind. The project aims to improve mental health and well-being for dementia-sufferers by offering individuals the chance to get involved in a range of conservation, horticulture and wildlife gardening tasks at the Idle Valley Nature Reserve.
