Story
Team Taming Terry taking on challengees and events for the National Brain Appeal. Please see below for our story...
Recently being diagnosed with a brain tumour (AKA Terry the Tumour) has given me, family, friends and work mates an incentive to raise funds for the hospital which is helping me and so many others in their fight against brain tumours.
The situation we have found ourselves in means, life’s pre-Terry targets and aims have become a little tougher, so having the aim of raising much needed funds not only gives us a reason to keep going and win our personal battle in taming our Terry but also gives us an opportunity to help others.
I (Laura King) was lumbered with Terry but so many loved ones are fighting alongside me in my battle and as such we are all taking on numerous challenges and events to kick Terry into shape.
We all thank you for either joining our mad cap events and challenges and/or digging deep into your pockets. You are helping us in our fight against Terry and his unwanted friends who set up camp in others brains. The much needed funds we all raise will be going towards the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London and specifically new operating theatres and the upgrading of existing ones to cater for increases in demand.
