We raise funds for Airedale Hospital to enhance patient care

Story

Fundraising update: Sam's friends Chris Foster  and Kevin Owens have arranged a memorial cricket match to take place next weekend at Skipton Cricket Club. There will be a silent auction, in which you can bid for signed sporting memorabilia and other goodies, on the day, with all proceeds going to HODU. Bids and other donations can be made through this page. We would all also like to send our thanks to Chris and Kevin, whose herculean efforts in organising the event look set to raise a lot of money for a great cause.

........

Losing Sam was the hardest thing that we have had to face as a family and, as a family, we want to work together to show our gratitude to those at HODU who showed such dedication and care for him during his treatment.

HODU (Haematology Oncology Day Unit) is the area within the Airedale NHS trust which looks after patients receiving treatment for cancer and related illnesses.

Sam was never the easiest of patients to deal with but the team at HODU went above and beyond to ensure that he was as comfortable as possible during his time there.

We will all be taking on challenges throughout the year to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause. please dig deep and give generously.
