Fundraising for St Columba's Hospice
Story
Hey everyone, thanks for coming to visit our JustGiving page!
In March last year we lost my Dad Dave. He had a very short battle with cancer and for the last week of his life he spent it in St Columba's Hospice. The care and compassion my Dad received and the support the nurses gave myself and my family was out of this world. Not only did they help my Dad they also got us through some of the toughest days of our lives and for this we want to give something back.
In memory of my Dad, myself, friends and family have come together as Team Taylor Made. We are taking part in Tough Mudder on the 25th of June to raise money for the hospice. While the hospice are partially funded by NHS Lothian, the majority of their funding continues to rely on the generosity of their supporters and the local community.
So this is where you guys come in. Team Taylor Made would really appreciate it if you could sponsor us to raise as much money as we can for this amazing place.
To get the team ready for Tough Mudder we have been training twice a week army style. While this has been tough it is such a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a great cause and the incredible courage and dignity shown by my Dad right to the end inspires us to do this for him!
