Having run the 5 World Major Marathons over the last 5 years, Team Cliffy have decided to go one step further this year, and take on the awesome Comrades Ultra Marathon. The race is a hilly 56 miles from Pietermaritzburg to Durban, South Africa on June 3rd 2012, with a strict time limit of 12 hours to complete the race.

Sadly injury has meant that only half the team will be venturing to SA, so Nick & Nic will be taking on the challenge while Ian & Steve will be nursing themselves back to full fitness for next year!

We will once again be running to raise money for Hope & Homes for Children, with the St. James's Place Foundation matching every donation, pound for pound.

Across the world millions of children are growing up scared and alone in orphanages. Hope and Homes for Children believes that this is wrong and that children need the love of a family to grow, develop and flourish. They are working to ensure that all children have a place to call home and the chance to grow up in the love of a family.  

This work is very dear to our hearts; Team Cliffy have been supporting their work since 2007 and have so far raised over £50,000 for Hope & Homes. The children we support have nothing in life, less than nothing, because they don't even have hope for their future. Please help us to help them.
