As most of you all know We lost our beautiful baby girl Poppy last September. She was unfortunately born to premature and gained her angel wings after living for 2 and half hours. We are doing this charity run/walk as a group of family and friends in her memory and to give something back to the amazing charities that helped us.

We are raising money for the lily Mae foundation a charity that provided us with a priceless gift of a beautiful memory box. In this box we had many things that enabled us to capture a small amount of memories of Poppy that we can keep forever. They also raise money to support the larger charities and hospitals bereavement suites and will use your donated money as you wish for it to be used. With this in mind they will be using some of our money as requested by me to purchase items needed in Eden suite which is the bereavement  suite located at heartlands hospital where we were looked after and Poppy too. The remaining money I have requested to be used by lily Mae foundation to create more memory boxes for bereaved families.

The run is on 20th September 2014. Poppy's first birthday/anniversary will be 2days before on 18th so a difficult time for us but with the help of my family and friends and the opportunity to do something in her memory will I'm sure turn a sad time into something good.
