Operation RagnarӧK is a challenge involving a Mitsubishi L200 "Louis" being driven across Iceland and Summiting a series of volcanoes. The treacherous terrain and varying climate of Iceland will test resilience, logical thinking and perseverance, not to mention all the attributes to even operate in this remote environment. RagnarӧK comes from an old Norse term that is now interpreted as "Final Destiny of the Gods.''

Matthew McHugh and Rhys Rowlands, are both ex-serving soldiers who left the military following medical issues and still hold very strong and passionate connections with the Armed Forces. Matthew trained with the Mine Clearance Divers within the Royal Navy before unfortunately leaving with a heart condition. Rhys recently retired from the British Army following a serious leg injury sustained while on tour in Afghanistan.
