We wanted to do something to support the work of Rennie Grove hospice at home care who really supported Dad and the family in his last days during the early part of 2015. We therefore decided to take part in a Rennie Grove sponsored trek through the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco in June 2016. During this trek we will be attempting to summit the country's three highest mountains including the highest peak in North Africa, the famous Mt Toubkal at 4,167m high! The trek is graded challenging, we will be camping and trekking up to 10 - 11hrs per day through difficult terrain to reach the summits. We are advised that we will have to contend with potential altitude sickness, no washing or toilet facilities (apart from mountain streams!) and the odd scorpion or two!! The travel costs etc. of the trip have been covered by us so that all the money you donate will go to support Rennie Grove. Please give generously as Rennie Grove do an amazing job!!
