We transform the lives of children to live as independently as possible

Story

This is Yianni and Joolz' third ride for PACE, but this time have convinced 'Shandy' to join them. Despite our best efforts, our training has been a little hampered by a doubly-broken elbow, road-rash (or more accurately 'mountain-rash'), bereavement, a slight helicopter hiccup, to name just a few....and that's before we even start on Yianni! We are now making up for lost time and settling in to a loss of social life and early mornings/late evenings spent on the bikes. However, those children at PACE make it all worthwhile. When you see the transformation of these kiddos after spending time at PACE, the other issues in life are suddenly not so very pressing.

PACE is a ground-breaking children’s charity that transforms the lives of children and young people with motor disorders, such as cerebral palsy. Fundamental to their approach is a belief in every child’s ability to learn and make progress, whatever the physical or sensory challenges they face. The overriding goal is to help children and young people with physical disabilities to achieve their full potential and to be as independent as possible in their current and future lives.

That place is truly awesome. Please join with us and make a difference.
