Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We're running this together (that's the current plan anyway) and as if just running the thing wasn't enough we're challenging ourselves to complete it in under 1hr 50mins.  It's Mary's first half marathon having gone from 'I can't run' to 'ok I can run but I hate it' and Paul's third big race challenge after a bit of a break.  Mary's legs are long but Paul's are longer so training has been a physical and marital challenge so far!  Please make it all worthwhile for us by sponsoring us whatever you can.... and please don't make your donation dependent on us hitting the time, that's way too much pressure!  It's not really about hitting the time challenge, the charity target is much more important to us...

The Staying Alive Foundation do an amazing job of providing grants to young people world wide to help them communicate and educate in HIV prevention.  Staying Alive’s aim is to reduce HIV infections among young people globally. It does this by using entertainment to bring across vital safe sex information so that young people are empowered to make safer sexual and lifestyle decisions.

We are super grateful for anything you can afford to give and would love it if you came to support us on the day  too!  Thanks so much.
