Story

Eleven members of staff form Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital decided to join together and train for a challenge (the 2016 Great North Run) whilst raising money for a local-based charity.

We chose to support MS Research & Relief Fund as this charity - which is based in Morpeth, North East of England - provides support, services and information for people affected by Multiple Schlerosis, an inflammatory disease of the central nervous system.

We felt this charity was a worthy cause as we could see how the money we manage to raise will directly help those living with MS.

With your help, we would love to reach our group target of £2,000.

For my of us in the group, this is the first time we have undertaken the challenge of a half marathon but hopefully it will all be worth the effort.

Your donation will be greatly appreciated by Team Nuffield and by the MSRRF and it's users!
