Story
Shaun, David, Kate, Phil and Roger thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
This page has been set up to raise money for The Jubilee Sailing Trust a charity that provides disabled and able bodied people the means to sail together promoting equality, sharing and to celebrated individual differences by working together.
Why JST? Shaun's dearest brother, Justin, took his own life back in march 2009. During the life that he had with us, he had helped build the Tenacious ship for JST. In some respects, this ship is part of his legacy, a positive , bringing people together and doing something for the greater good.
5 of us will be setting out to cycle the LEJOG on 5th August 2015. This is a 984 mile journey from the most Southern (Lands End) to the most Northern point (John O'Groats) of the UK in 12 days. We will be riding unsupported and carrying our own equipment. This ride is to honour Shaun's brother and to ensure, by your donations, that his legacy through JST lives on and touches the lives of those it matters to.
Please, if you can, give generously, all donations of all sizes will be greatly appreciated. So give what you can,we need to hit this target! Donating will be the easy part, leave the pedaling and the sore backsides to us!
Big Love.
Shaun, Kate, Roger, David & Phil
