Fundraising for Travelteer Impact
Story
In January 2017 I will be heading to Sri Lanka for 6 weeks to volunteer with a project called Manacare, using my skills to train and educate local women through a Textile Design platform. Together we will be designing and making products from recycled textiles which can then be sold to increase their revenue to help the wider local community
Throughout the whole of October, I will be drinking only water. No tea (!), coffee, fizzy drinks, alcohol, juice, smoothies etc.
A month of doing this is going to be a challenge, especially as it is getting colder!
It would be amazing if you could sponsor me, big or small! I will also be doing other forms of fundraising in the following months to try and hit my £700 target.
Travelteer Impact empowers under developed communities and their environments in Sri Lanka. All the funds are raised by volunteers who participate in the volunteering programmes. By donating to a volunteers page you will be directly contributing to our efforts and helping us achieve our aims!
