I am taking part in the Vodafone Big Bold Challenge 2016 and I'll be running 5k and 500 steps and finishing off with an abseil. My aversion to exercise and all things fitness is a well-known fact but I am proud to be a part of the Big Bold Challenge team and Sparkes Home Sri Lanka is a fantastic cause to support

Sparkes Home Sri Lanka provides safe and loving homes for disadvantaged girls across Sri Lanka. The charity was originally set up to support girls who were orphans or children of destitute families who were too poor to care for them following the devastation of the tsunami and civil war but it has been growing from strength to strength and now cares for over 120 girls who are in need. The girls not only get a roof over their heads, food and a family that care but they are also sent to school so they can be set up for their adult lives and can earn a living - this is something that a lot of us (including myself) take for granted. 

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
