Story
THANK YOU to everyone who has helped and supported us.
We started raising money taking on lots of challenges, mostly involving long runs and lots of mud.
We raised money because it was personal to us, we wanted others to benefit from the fantastic care that we experienced. We’ve done a couple of hard yards over the last year– From those first training sessions in sub-zero temperatures slogging through runs by the tweed in falling snow. We’ve done the wading through mud, racing up hills and sloshing waist deep in freezing water - and even if we did that every minute of every day for the next 50years - we’ll never get close to the kind of fight that the people who benefit from the Margaret Kerr Unit go through, every day.
So, we’re going to keep on putting ourselves through it all – to remind us that no matter how hard it feels, you can always keep going. Because the courage shown by our mum will never stop inspiring us, every time we run, cycle, or kick a ball we just want to keep reminding everyone of the work that goes on to help those people – because sometimes they need some help, no matter how strong their fight is, no matter how bold their courage.
