Any donations made through this page will go directly to Sheffield Mencap & Gateway who facilitate and inspire adults and children with learning disabilities as well as providing support for their carer's and families. Their vision is that all people with a learning disability and their carer's in Sheffield feel valued, included and respected. They believe that everyone should be supported to reach their full potential and to live the life they choose. This charity is funded mainly by the generous people of the Sheffield, in order to provide the extra care, support and learning facilities that are desperately required.

The Great Sheffield Cake Off is an opportunity to bring together the local community, and to celebrate the hard work that Sheffield Mencap & Gateway’s staff and carer's provide in order to continuously offer their care, support and education. We aim to do this by hosting a friendly competition between local bakeries to raise the funds to provide Norfolk Lodge with new kitchen facilities.
