Kev and I are running the GNR this September to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's Society NE. 

This is a charity very close to our hearts having witnessed at close hand many times the heartache that this cruel disease has caused to both family and good friends. 

For those of you that know me, I am not a runner. Never have been, never will be, but I'm a Geordie lass and it just has to be done. 

So please dig deep and I'll be thinking of you as my toes start to bleed and I'm freaking out at around about 9 miles (I reckon!!).

As an extra incentive to support, my work (The Adderstone Foundation) have agreed to double any fundraising that we can manage and all funds raised will go to Alzheimer's Society NE. Surely that has to be a win-win!
