Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Poole hospital cancer centre do amazing things for people affected by cancer in Dorset.
Between 12 May and 10 June the Griffin Family have committed to walk 600 miles (between us) to raise money for the Poole Scanner Appeal. This represents the distance travelled from Blandford to Poole for a 4 week course of radiotherapy treatment. To be even healthier we're also giving up alcohol and donating any money we save!
Every pound donated to the Poole Body Scanner Appeal will make a real difference to those that need treatment.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
11.6.2016 Our Family Challenge for Dorset Cancer Centre at Poole Hospital finished yesterday.
It was really tough especially at the beginning. None of us seemed to be covering enough daily miles to make it, our feet hurt and we struggled to fit walking/ running into busy lives. But we got into our stride, cheered each other on, did some long walks, shrugged off blisters and sore knees and covered not just 600 miles but 962.89! Thank you to Harry (a super hero!) Craig Maia Kate Saph and Lily for their fabulous contributions & to all our kind supporters!! This page will be open for a while so please do donate if you can!
