Story
For anyone who knows me, I haven't been to a gym in over 20 years. I do no exercise despite the fact that Kate goes to Barry's Bootcamp or even goes running on the weekends sometimes.
Finally, Kate has persuaded me that its time I get off the sofa and push the pause button on Sky TV, and do something. My first idea was to run the marathon next year (I did just spend Sunday morning on the sofa watching it on TV after all). I soon decided that was WAY too big a challenge so we thought that starting with a 10k, with just 75 days to prepare, would be enough of a challenge for my weak, lazy body. Kate will be joining me throughout this process and on the run as well (although I think thats to make sure I actually go through with it!) So here we are, husband & wife embarking on a romantic 75 day training schedule leading up to the big day. Kate of course, has run two 10k's before so she's an old hand at this... I have my very own Mrs Motivator so what could go wrong......
Boys Town is very close to my heart, and if I was going to push my body to places it doesn't know exists, I should definitely try to raise some money for Boys Town.
