Story

Hello my name is Thomas Rygielski and I am helping raise money for the maternity services at the George Eliot Hospital. Last year my wife gave birth to our beautiful baby boy who was unfortunately still born. He was delivered at 26wks and as of yet we have no answers as to why we lost our angel. Still born babies happens to thousands of people every year and although not everyone deals with it in the same way everyone will have to go through the horrific times that we did. In the memory of our baby boy Ryan Thomas Rygielski we want to help raise the money for our local maternity hospital as without the hospital and the staff this horrific experience wouldn't have been made as comfortable as it has been for us.So far we managed to raise £500 from Ryan's Funeral from donations, this all went towards buying a cold plate which has been ordered. This helps the parents of still borns to have longer with their angels before letting them go. It helps prevent the babies from deteriating so quickly. Going forward we are helping raise money that will help buy special cots where the mothers who have had caesareans will be able to deal with there babies much easier. This will make it easier for them to bond with there baby without being in so much pain by getting up to deal with them. I am carrying out a Run from UCHW (Walsgrave Hospital) to George Eliot Hospital on what would have been Ryan's due date 03.02.2012 to help raise as much money as possible. So please please dig deep and help support the maternity services at George Eliot Hospital. No one ever knows when they may need them, they give 100% to all there patients weather they are having healthy babies or like us unfortunate to have to experience a still born baby.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
