Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will soon be taking off to Japan to begin my adventure. I will be living amongst a rural community close to Hiroshima where I will learn to speak the language and will study their customs in detail. The aim of the project is to fully integrate with the community respecting and learning to live amongst them fully immersed in their way of life while making a useful and valued contribution. I will be taking an active role with the children, teaching them English and basic cooking skills as well as arranging entertainment and little adventures. I will also be working along side other volunteers to fully restore and renovate the village school. This will offer the children somewhere appropriate in which to be educated as well as offer the village as a whole somewhere to hold events and a variety of gatherings. In order for me to take part in this venture I need to raise enough funds to cover not only my living and travel costs but also enough to contribute to materials for the build and for the children's educational needs. 

Every penny donated will make a difference and will take me a step nearer to this once in a life time opportunity. I would like to thank you in advance for helping to change not only mine but also  the lives of the people in the village.
