In November I shall be traveling to Oman to race in the 'Oman Desert Marathon'. This will be one of my most physically and mentally challenging tests. I decided whilst I preparing for this I would raise money for a charity that I feel strongly about - Facing Africa. They provide life changing work in some of the poorest nations, helping young children with facial disfigurements get surgery and the chance to start a new life. I'm really drawn to the work they do and would recommend you take a moment of your time to look at their website.

I have set my goal at £10,000 and would greatly appreciate any donation towards this, large or small it will all count. I will be posting regular updates here giving you a chance to see what training I have been doing and a closer insight into 'Facing Africa'.
