SHINE is an education charity that gives children the opportunity to acquire the skills and confidence they need to turn their potential into success at school and beyond. Sharing a belief that education is the most important element that can make a difference for our children, SHINE has had a real impact enriching the lives of over 140,000 children in recognising their talents and potential, regardless of their background.

I'm a strong believer in the notion that income should never affect a child's opportunities and, in its work with kids from disadvantaged communities across the UK, SHINE has provided support for students across the years, enabling many to advance and succeed where, because of family income or background, they risked falling short. 

While a morning spent running in Richmond Park isn't much of a sacrifice, the impact that SHINE has on the children it works with has amazing value and so your support can make a huge difference to the lives of many.
