On July 17th I will attempt to swim 3.8Km, cycle 180Km then run a marathon (42Km) at Ironman UK in Bolton.

Wrightington Wish is a newly set up charity that supports many aspects of Musculoskeletal care and research at Wrightington Hospital, Wigan, Lancashire. Wrightington is a major tertiary referral centre for Orthopaedic Surgery and provides care for patients throughout Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cumbria and further afield.

As a surgeon at the Hospital I regularly encourage my patients to exercise to stay healthy so now I'm practicing what I preach (although a little extreme!).
