So we have decided we all want to accomplish something we are proud of so we are raising money for Yorkshire Children's Trust, a small registered charity based just outside the centre of Halifax. The charity was set up by parents of families who have children suffering with cancer in the hope of helping other families in similar difficult circumstances. We will be cycling from Whitehaven to Tynemouth through the Lake District - 141 miles :) 

The charity we have chosen offer financial assistance to families with long term sick or disabled children in all four corners of the Yorkshire region. These grants can be used to pay for medical treatment or equipment, hospital travel costs, essential home modifications or a short family holiday for not just the disabled child, but mum, dad and any siblings too.

Although they work closely with the Disabled Children's Team at Social Services to ensure they help the most deserving families, they do not receive any government, lottery or NHS funding.

They cannot provide this essential financial assistance without people just like YOU!!
