LDWP has been working in developing countries for over 25 years and carry out small sustainable development projects focused on improving education opportunities for those who would otherwise struggle to access education. The projects last 5 weeks over the summer and are made up of 12 young people from all across the UK working with the local people.

Next summer I have the opportunity to travel to the small town of Mugalike near Kagadi in Uganda to work  on the construction of a hostel for pupils to attend a school built by LDWP.

To be able to help the children I need to raise £1350 which will be used to help fund my transport to Uganda so that I can help with the build, as well as contributing towards the building materials we will need for the building.
