The Wimbledon Civic Theatre Trust is a fantastic organisation for the events industry to support.  I'm sure my own personal experiences of theatre on and backstage as a teenager over 20 years ago helped plant seeds that put me where I am today, in festival fields, on stages, with like minded people, producing amazing shows. 

I don't expect you to shell out for me doing something fun without me chipping in too, so I've started the pot with £50 of my own hard earned. Anything you feel like contributing is really appreciated and will be well used by the WCTT. 

With the impending birth of our daughter in July this might be the last chance i get for a while to do something requiring hours of regular training.  I'm taking it pretty seriously and aiming not just to finish my first marathon but to clock up a decent time, I've set myself a target of 3 hours 45 mins.  Thanks to my awesome wife Adriana for the nutrition tips and understanding my need to disappear early on Sunday mornings.
