While celebrating our birthdays on Saturday 15th October 2016 with an afternoon tea and games we would like to raise money for our two chosen charities. We have no need for any gifts - we have everything we could ask for and more. So we would rather donations were made to the following charities: One is Savannah Education Trust which we have been following with interest since its founding. The other is Robbies Rally (Southampton Hospital Charity) founded very recently by a family Sarah taught.

Savannah Education Trust works with some of the poorest families in West Africa through the provision of Christian schools in northern Ghana. In communities as poor as these, the purpose of education is not necessarily to improve job opportunities but (over time) to improve the quality of life.
