MAAC Bear Grylls Africa Survival Challenge 2016 , 13 November 2016

Story

Once upon a time in a land not so far away there was a crazy-ass girl who loved the outdoors, adventures and a good challenge, oh and had a crush on Bear Grylls!

One day her contact (Jon) at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity got in touch and said – guess what – we have an opportunity for you to take part in a Bear Grylls challenge and raise loads of money for the MAAC at the same time.

She debated and debated, asked the opinion of people who knew her well - family, friends, work colleagues and even people who she'd never met before – hoping someone would tell her to ‘get a grip!’, but no – everyone said ‘you have to do this!

So guess what – looks like I’m off to Zimbabwe to complete the Bear Grylls Africa Survival Challenge, eat bugs, drink wee and some other yucky stuff with a small group of similarly crazy people.

I have a goal of £5000 – all going to the MAAC – so please donate – no amount is too little!
