There are very few of us who have not been affected by cancer whether it be personally or via a loved one. This is why I have have accepted this challenge to raise £2000 to help fund a new cancer support centre in Dunston Gateshead. 

The Centre will not only offer support to people diagnosed with cancer, but also to their families, carers and friends. FACT want to help anyone who feels they have been affected by cancer, at any time – no matter how long ago they were diagnosed, or when they had their treatment. This will also include helping those who are close to someone who has cancer, or have lost someone close to them, without the need for clinical referrals. There is currently no other centre in the region offering this type of support
